May 2: Karaoke Idol, Exeter Town Hall, Exeter NH

Join the Exeter Rotary Club and The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce as they present the 2010 Karaoke Idol Competition on Sunday, May 2, 2010.

Last year there were thirty three performers; ages ranging from 7 to 60 participated in Karaoke Idol Competition. They competed for awards in their individual age groups and for the title of top performer and a $250 prize.

May 3 - 4: Fashion Show, Garrison Inn, Newburyport MA

Newburyport is in for a dose of glamour and luxury as TEA NOIR hosts Glam Fest; a celebration of all things glamorous. Every Monday night from 6pm to 9pm Tea Noir rolls out the red carpet for Newburyport's elite, showcasing fine art, designer champagne, high fashion and Grand Galas. Glam Fest is a reason to love Mondays and definitely the place to wear those furs and stilettos at the back of your closet. All events are held from 6pm to 9pm. Admission is complimentary. Fashion Show Monday, May 3rd, 2010 is dedicated to Fashion with looks from Gentry's Consignment Boutique. With a commitment to great style Gentry's Consignment Boutique presents their spring collection via our catwalk.

May 7: 3rd Annual NH Surfrider Party, Portsmouth Gaslight Co., Portsmouth NH

Come celebrate the warm weather with Kings Highway, DJ Koko P, and Surfrider. Our last show at Sugarbush was a blast, but we're glad to be back playing in our backyard.

Enjoy the family fun and events at the 2010 NHTA Tow and Trade Show, Returning to Hampton Beach State Park. This popular event features a huge parade of trucks, vendors, a rodeo competition, food raffles, and family oriented activities.

May 15 - 16: 25th Annual Seacoast Bike Tour, Portsmouth, NH

This is one Bike Tour you don't want to miss! Join Breathe New Hampshire as we celebrate our 25th Annual Bike Tour on May 15th & 16th, 2010. Individuals of all abilities are encouraged to join in the fun and raise funds for the New Hampshire Youth Network and other programs, research, public awareness campaigns and advocacy work related to all aspects of improving lung health and air quality in New Hampshire. On day one, cyclists ride from Portsmouth, NH to Ogunquit, ME and enjoy views of beautiful ocean side communities. Day two brings riders inland through scenic country roads and back to Portsmouth, NH to celebrate their success at the finish line barbeque. Riders can choose to participate both days or just join the Tour and ride on day one. There is a route for everyone - Choose from three routes on Saturday and two routes on Sunday. The Tour's routes range from a leisurely 25-mile family route to a more challenging 56-mile route.
