If you say North Beach to those in the know, the response will be “The Wall.” It’s almost Pavlovian how much The Wall is synonymous with hot Hampton surfing. It’s basically a 2 mile plus cement wall that borders a beach with near constant swells — swell for surfing, indeed. Check it out the webcam.

Also: North Beach is right across the street from a neighborhood watering hole known as North Beach Bar & Grill, which has nice outdoor seating. You can also hit the Secret Spot (shhhhhhh…). Smoothies. Acai bowls. Everything that’s tatey and somewhat healthy.
