Camping Along the Coast – Offering Access for the RV Enthusiast

There are limited sites within Hampton Beach but you’ll find plenty of opportunities to campout in the surrounding area.

If you’re interested in RV camping right along the New Hampshire coast, there’s only one place to go – the Hampton Beach State Park RV Campground. This is the only coastal RV camping area in the Granite State. Located close to a variety of seaside attractions, the park is situated on the southern fringe of Hampton Beach on Route 1A at the Seabrook/Hampton line.

There are 28 sites that include full water, electric and sewer hook-ups. Only RV’s with full hook-ups are permitted. The park, which has an onsite store, does not accommodate tents. The Hampton Beach State Park RV Campground is open from late April to late October, taking reservations for dates from late May to early September. All other times are on a first-come/first-served basis.

Numerous other private campgrounds are located a few miles inland, including those that offer facilities for tent and RV camping. If you’re looking to stay right along the coast, you’ll have to plan early or go at an off-peak time.
