Hampton Beach Attractions & Activities
More than You Can Accomplish in One Week
Hampton Beach is much more than simply a great spot to sun and swim. If you want to, you can cram every minute with entertaining activities.
Yes, there is a lot to do in Hampton Beach and the surrounding area, but don't worry if you're looking to simply relax. You're certainly allowed to do that and that alone for as long as you'd like. But let's say you do want to venture off the beach or away from your room, what is there to do?
Someone would be telling a lie on a summer night if they said there's "nothing to see" at Hampton Beach. There are free concerts at the Seashell amphitheatre every evening, headliners almost every night at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom and live music by local bands in numerous pubs. If you're up for singing a tune, you'll find karaoke at various bars and restaurants. And don't forget the arcades for family fun, 14 different nights of free fireworks on the beach and daily ocean cruises.
If you're looking for a bit more activity, you're going to discover everything from shopping to surfing and from whale watching to water park fun. Just about every beach and ocean activity is available at Hampton Beach. If you'd like to checkout another New Hampshire beach, you'll find a variety of settings, including many with amenities and a few without any modern conveniences.
If you're into history, it might interest you to know that Hampton Beach is a village district within the larger town of Hampton. Hampton was settled in 1638 when it was named the Plantation of Winnacunnet. To find out more about Hampton's history, you can take a few hours and visit the Tuck Museum Complex, which is the home of the Hampton Historical Society.
Of course, most of these are within walking distance or a few minutes away by car. Convenience cloaked in the beauty of the ocean and beach makes these Hampton Beach attractions and activities especially appealing.
