While you're there, be sure to catch a concert at the Hampton Beach Casino or just stroll around and enjoy the free, live music all along the strip. For lodging, you'll find everything from small mom-and-pop motels and cottage rentals to larger hotels with all the amenities. You can even set up a waterfront camp with your tent or RV at the Hampton Beach State Park.

At Cinnamon Rainbows, you can get everything from surfing lessons and equipment rentals to fun gear, cool tees and hot swimsuits. In the market for a surfboard? The Cinnamon Rainbows "board room" typically holds 100 surfboards.

Pioneers Surf, Skate and Snow Shop is another surfer-owned-and-operated go-to place for the hottest brands in surfboards, snowboards, wet suits, sunglasses, sneakers, watches, swimsuits, sun block and all-season gear for surf, ski and sports enthusiasts. It's run by Steve and Heather O'Hara, and Bryan Johnson who bring over 40 years of surfing and 23 in surf retail to the table. They sell only what they love, they surf every single day there is a wave to ride and their mantra is It's all about spreading the Surf Stoke!

If you want an affordable and accessible surfing vacation, go where the surfers live. For many Hampton residents, surfing is a way of life - all year long. With the latest advancements in wetsuit technology, NH surfers are riding waves throughout the fall and winter months. Today's 3/2, 4/3, and even 6/5 millimeter wetsuits keep surfers warm on the water without sacrificing freedom of movement. Even with a foot of snow on the ground, when you head to "The Wall" at Hampton Beach, you'll see a lineup of SUVs and colorful surf boards with dozens of surfers in their wetsuits. Peek over the wall at the steel-blue water and there they are - bobbing on their boards watching for swells or in the zone riding the waves - just like it's high noon on a sunny August day! Continue up the coast to Jenness Beach and Wallis Sands and you'll see the same thing whether it's January or July.
