Jenness Beach is a great location for beginner surfers. Sandy bottom and gentle waves make for easy learning.
The beach is (officially) open daily from May through October. Lifeguards are on duty 9:00am – 4:45pm on Memorial Day weekend, then daily from June through September, weather permitting.
