2011 Beach Rescue Project

Posted on July 14, 2011 by John Walsh in News - No Comments

Public Beach Cleanup and Celebration Planned for North Beach, New Hampshire

Enjoy the summer by joining Surfrider Foundation and Barefoot Wine on Saturday, August 13 from 4 pm – 6 pm for a public beach cleanup at North Hampton Beach. The cleanup is part of the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, a longstanding partnership between Barefoot Wine and Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Now in its fifth year, the Project calls on community volunteers to participate in a local beach, river or park cleanup, helping to keep Hampton Beach “barefoot friendly” for all to enjoy.

Following the cleanup, participants 21+ are invited to celebrate their efforts at North Beach Bar & Grill featuring Barefoot Wine and tasty beach treats. Attendees should RSVP at BeachRescue2011.com.
